Utkan Kocaturk is the man behind the camera, an avid hiker/backpacker/nordic skater. Born and raised in Turkey, Utkan moved to the states in 2006 as an international student. Having lived in New York, Wisconsin and California. He happily gravitated to the last frontier, Alaska.

A showcase of Utkan's deep passion for travel and photography, this website documents his recent journeys. From backpacking across the stormy Catalina Island backcountry to exploring Japanese volcanoes , skating on thin wild ice in bone chilling conditions in Alaska, Utkan's photos frame a unique point of view. He captures people experiencing nature, and brings us along on the stunning adventure.
